Inspiring families to get outdoors

‘Over the last decade, a large amount of research has been carried out into the diverse benefits for children of contact with nature and outdoor experiences. These benefits include positive impacts on education, physical health, emotional wellbeing and personal and social skills, including the development of responsible citizens’. The outcomes of extensive research were collated by the RSPB in their summary report named ‘Every child outdoors’.

Happy Days Nursery is committed to supporting parents to make the most of the outdoors. Talk to a member of the management team about our family packs linked to outside adventures in the woods and the fun you can have exploring puddles together! We have been busy collating the responses to our recent outdoor questionnaire from parents and are in the process of organising some outdoor fun that our parents can get involved in!
